Opening 2024, Park Hyatt London River Thames offers 203 spacious and comfortable rooms, including two ambassador suites and a presidential suite. With stunning city and river views, signature Charlie Whinney pieces, and a convenient location in the heart of London, the hotel is an ideal launchpad to explore the city, with nearby attractions including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Kings Road. Duties and responsibilities related to the Head Chef role include:

· Accountable for delivering exceptional dining experiences at the Chinese Restaurant, overseeing lunch and dinner operations, and collaborating closely with the Hotel Executive Chef.
· Responsible for managing food costs within budget and implementing cost control measures aligned with the hotel's business plan.
· Oversee recipe costing, menu development, and effective communication with colleagues to ensure innovative and appealing offerings.
· Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and mentorship to the culinary team to enhance productivity and colleague engagement.
· Lead recruitment efforts to attract and manage future culinary talent, fostering a dynamic and skilled team.
· Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards.

About you 

Proven track record and experience in high-end Chinese cuisine is desired, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent knowledge of food trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
