At Andaz Gold Coast, the little details make a big impression. Our Handyperson helps keep the hotel looking cared for, working beautifully and ready for whatever the day brings.
We're looking for a practical, reliable Handyperson to join our Engineering team. You'll support the upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, responding to maintenance requests and helping create a safe, comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.
What you'll do
· Complete general repairs and maintenance across the hotel
· Assist with painting, patching, carpentry, tiling and basic plumbing tasks
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests
· Support preventative maintenance programs
· Keep guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces in excellent condition
· Work safely and follow all relevant procedures
· Liaise with colleagues and contractors to resolve issues efficiently
· Maintain a clean, organised and professional work area
Desired profile
Qualifications :
What you'll bring
· Previous experience in a handyperson, maintenance or facilities role
· Practical skills across general building and property maintenance
· A positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
· Good communication and time-management skills
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team
· A commitment to safety and quality
· Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends when required
· Trade qualifications are valued but not essential
· Must already have ongoing and current working rights for Australia
