Your Role
The Global Sales Specialist – Ramp Support is an indirect Sales role within HSF EAME, integrated into the Conversion Team, supporting Hyatt's hotel conversion and pre-opening (Ramp) activities. The primary focus of this role is to manage and drive group leads across all Global Sales HSF segments and coordinate the transient RFP process on behalf of future opening and converting hotels, ensuring they are commercially active and visible prior to opening. Working in close partnership with the Ramp teams, this role acts as an extension of the hotel's sales function during the pre-opening phase. It ensures that new hotels are effectively represented within Hyatt's global sales structure and are positioned to generate revenue from day one. The role contributes directly to revenue generation by supporting lead handling, RFP participation, and reactive customer engagement, while also building the foundation for long term, value-based customer relationships. This position requires strong coordination, organization, and sales acumen, as well as the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Group Leads Management (Core Responsibility)
• Manage and coordinate group leads across all market segments on behalf of pre opening and converting hotels
• Act as the central point of contact between Global Sales teams and hotels
• Ensure timely qualification, follow-up, and conversion of leads
• Collaborate with HSF colleagues to maximize revenue opportunities
• Track and report on lead activity and conversion performance
Transient RFP Process Ownership
• Coordinate and manage the transient RFP process for hotels in pre-opening or conversion phase
• Ensure hotels are correctly positioned and loaded in all relevant RFP platforms (e.g., Lanyon, etc.)
• Support rate submissions, content alignment, and deadlines
• Act as liaison between Global Sales, customers, and Ramp teams throughout the RFP cycle
• Monitor participation and performance to ensure optimal commercial exposure
Ramp & Conversion Sales Support
• Support the Ramp team in preparing hotels for commercial readiness
• Act as a temporary reactive sales support function until the hotel sales team is fully operational
• Facilitate smooth transition of responsibilities to on-property sales teams post-opening 4. Systems & Reporting
• Maintain and update all relevant sales systems (Envision, Lanyon, Cognos, 360, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of hotel data during pre-opening
• Provide reporting on: Lead production o RFP participation o Ramp performance metrics
• Support audits and internal reporting processes
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
• Work closely with: HSF Global Sales teams o Ramp team o Future hotel sales teams
• Ensure clear, proactive communication across all stakeholders
• Maintain visibility of pre-opening hotels within the Global Sales organization
