HYATT REGENCY ZADAR

The hotel will be located at Zadar’s landmark Maraska building on the waterfront and will be within walking distance of the city’s famous Sea Organ , an experimental instrument that plays music through the movement of sea waves. Hyatt Regency Zadar will be a great launching pad for travelers visiting Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, the Roman and Venetian ruins, and famous national parks, including Plitvice Lakes, Zadar Archipelago and Kornati National Park.

Hyatt Regency Zadar will deliver on the modern expectations of today’s travelers and meeting planners. The 130-room hotel will feature authentic food and beverage offerings that will build off the Hyatt Regency brand’s history of culinary excellence. The hotel will serve as the perfect venue for a variety of events such as weddings, social banquets, exhibitions, meetings, and conferences. Additionally, the hotel will offer a fitness center, spa and an outdoor swimming pool.

The Front Office Manager will have oversight of the front office staff, staffing needs, and guest services. Additional responsibilities may include training, staff development and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
· Ensure hotels standards and expectations are accomplished on a daily basis
· Greet and escorts VIP’s and ensures that the staff is aware of the VIP guest requirements
· Oversee lobby, upholding guest service standards from the point of entry to guest room
· Motivate team to carefully problem solve, empathize with customer needs, and develop new skills
· Ensure hotels standards and expectations are accomplished on a daily basis
· Coordinate Front Office activities with other departments
· Effectively communicate information between shifts including special requests
· Interact with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Sales, regarding day-to-day room inventory needs
· Control daily rooms availability, special events, and general information
· Supervise check-in and check-out
· Monitor and implement operating procedures
· Responsible for maintaining department standards
