HYATT CENTRIC MURANO VENICE is the lifestyle hotel in the heart of the Venetian lagoon, is the starting point for our guests who want to slowly discover Venice and its islands, leaving behind more hectic and touristy things. Murano, the island of glass, will introduce you to the lifestyle of a true Venetian and allow you to (re)discover Venice and its islands through the eyes of its inhabitants.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food & Beverage Manager to assist leading our food & beverage operations with a focus on innovation, organization, customer service and cost control. The ideal candidate has worked for an international hotel chain, has experience in managing a team of at least 20 associates throughout multiple outlets and is knowledgeable with HACCP regulations.

Our hotel has 3 Food & Beverage outlets: the gourmet Ristorante Osteriva considered the best restaurant on Murano Island specialized on seafood & fish, the Laguna side must-go location, Rivalonga Caffè and the Spritz & Fizz Cocktail Bar . We also offer room service and banqueting facilities.

Responsibilities:

· Act as a face of the F&B Operations team towards the guests and lead the food & beverage team by example providing courteous customer service.
· Oversee staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and supervision of employees and apprentices .
· Handle guest requests and respond promptly to complaints
· Ensure compliance with all HACCP and safety regulations .
· Coordinate budget planning for the food & beverage department and control a cost-efficient food & beverage structure
· Reforecast regularly the previsions and act accordingly
· Ensure effective collaboration with all relevant departments and participate in meetings and conference calls .

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Oversee the preparation of all dishes, as well as the cleanliness and organization of the assigned station.
· Maintain a professional and ethically sound relationship with colleagues, suppliers, and guests.
· Be proactive in teamwork and foster a collaborative environment.
· Ensure full compliance with HACCP regulations (e.g., checking fridge temperatures, labeling prepared and unprepared food, sanitizing workstations, using products as per HACCP requirements, etc.).
· Monitor the correct use and maintenance of equipment and tools provide
· Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
· Attend and contribute to all training sessions and meetings as required.
· Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

· Provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
· Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
· Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships

·  Strengths include flexibility, commitment and driving change
·  Open-minded, innovative, and able to contribute new ideas to daily operations
·  Resilient and able to stay calm under pressure
·  Hotel operates the full year but with seasonal differences, having worked in a seasonal environment is a plus
·  English language skills, Good Italian skills are a plus but not mandatory
