Job description
You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers. The Commis Chef is responsible to prepare a consistent, high quality food product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Proven experience in a Commis Chef role with excellent use of various baking methods, ingredients, equipment and hygiene standards
· Ability to multitask with good time management and work efficiently under pressure
· Knowledge of best cooking practices in South African Cuisine
· Culinary school diploma or qualification from a culinary school
· At least 1 - 2 years of experience cooking in a well-established restaurant or full-service hotel
