We have a exciting opportunity for a Commis Chef (Full Time) to join our creative culinary brigade and cook up a storm! Come and join our hotels in a journey of making travel more human, connected, and sustainable. Here, everyone's role matters, and your individuality is celebrated!
The Role
· Operational role in the kitchen
· Preparation and cooking of menu items within a busy environment
· Work across all culinary sections including Lennons, Hibiscus Bar & Terrace, and In Room Dining
· Maintain a hygienic and clean work environment
· Work with the rest of the culinary team to meet our guests expectations and make memorable experiences
· Help the culinary leadership team with executing menus, controlling food costs, and HACCP requirements
The Person
· Proven experience in a similar role
· Flexibility around working across all shifts including nights, weekends & public holidays
· Exceptional communication and organisation skills
· Passion for accelerating their culinary career within an International Hotel Group
· Full legal working rights in Australia
