Job description
Do you have a love for Japanese cuisine and a desire to grow within a dynamic culinary team? We’re looking for a Commis Chef with a keen interest in Japanese cooking—whether it's sushi, sashimi, tempura, or teppanyaki—to support our chefs and deliver an exceptional dining experience.
· Assist in the preparation and presentation of authentic Japanese dishes
· Follow recipes and techniques with accuracy and attention to detail
· Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment
· Support senior chefs in daily operations and during service
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Prior experience in a professional kitchen (experience with Japanese cuisine is a plus)
· Basic knife skills and a willingness to learn Japanese culinary techniques
· Passion for food, with a focus on precision and presentation
· A strong team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
· Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
