Chief Accountant

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to lead the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt's expansion across the region and will feature 214 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

Your Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially focused Chief Accountant to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Department, in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards, while consistently meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations.

This role is ideal for a finance professional who leads with integrity, ensures strong financial controls, and supports the hotel's operational and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department
· Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Credit, and related functions
· Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
· Partner with hotel leadership to drive financial discipline and informed decision-making
· Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Experience

·  University degree or diploma in Finance, Commerce, or Hospitality/Tourism Management
·  CA certification or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
·  Minimum 2 years' experience as Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant in a larger operation
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Excellent administrative and interpersonal abilities
·  High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
