Job description
As a Chef De Partie specializing in Japanese barbeque, you will be responsible for preparing and executing high quality Japanese grilled dishes including yakitori, robatayaki and yakiniku. You will support the Sous Chef in managing daily operations of Japanese BBQ section ensuring food consistency, cleanliness and timely service. Your role involves supervising junior associates, maintaining mise en place and ensuring proper grilling techniques to highlight authentic Japanese flavors.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Japanese kitchen and at least 1 year experience in similar role preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining
environment.
• Hands-on experience in Japanese BBQ cooking, attention to detail and a passion for Japanese culinary traditions.
• Strong management team player with leadership skills with the ability to train and support junior associates.
• Creativity, attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
