Boat Driver

Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is looking for a reliable and experienced Boat Driver to operate and navigate Hotel’s boats in accordance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of waterways, excellent driving skills, and the ability to provide safe and enjoyable experiences for passengers. This position will report to the Rooms Manager .

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Checks and cleans the Hotel's boats, ensuring be in good condition at all times
· Sends and pick up guests to and from any destination given, punctually and safely.
· being knowledgeable about navigation
· Delivers the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times
· Be familiar with the hotel’s products and services and policies.
· Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
· Safely operate boats
· Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the boat is in good working condition, including checking engines, safety equipment, and fuel levels.
· Maintain and manage safety equipment, ensuring all passengers are briefed on safety procedures.
· Perform routine maintenance on boats and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.
· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines while operating on waterways.
· Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.

Qualifications

· Proven experience as a Boat Driver or in a similar role, at least 3 years

· High School Diploma and Valid boating license or certifications required by local or national authorities . (12 miles)

· Fluent in Italian and English

· In-depth knowledge of water navigation, safety regulations, and weather patterns.

· Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
