Position Summary

The Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager – Luxury & Leisure is responsible for driving business from luxury consortia, key wholesale partners and destination management companies (DMCs) across Asia and international long-haul markets (USA, Europe, South America, Australia, Russia). This role requires a proactive, hunter-style approach to sales, with strong analytical skills to understand travel patterns, seasonalities and market dynamics.

The successful candidate will bring existing relationships with luxury travel advisors from the key feeder markets and leverage on them to convert business, collaborate closely with Hyatt's Global Sales Force Directors, and ensure Park Hyatt Bangkok remains top-of-mind for consortia and luxury leisure accounts. The candidate will create tactical offers and packages that drive ADR growth, manage the global holiday calendar to secure demand, and represent the hotel in revenue meetings to articulate segment performance and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Account Management

· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within luxury consortia, wholesale partners and DMCs.
· Maintain and expand relationships with key Asian and international accounts, leveraging existing contacts to maximize conversion.
· Strategize and execute sales plans to grow market share in long-haul markets (USA, Europe, South America, Australia, Russia).
· Develop tactical offers and promotions tailored to seasonal travel patterns and holiday calendars of each market.
· Create packages that enhance ADR and profitability, ensuring premium room types are effectively sold.
· Drive demand through dynamic connectivity and ensure seamless integration with partner platforms.

Luxury Travel Advisor Engagement

· Maintain existing relationships and develop new connections with key luxury travel advisors in feeder markets, particularly those affiliated with major consortia (Virtuoso, Traveler Made, Signature, etc.).
· Proactively engage with advisors to shift business toward Park Hyatt Bangkok, ensuring the hotel remains top-of-mind.
· Conduct product presentations, webinars and one-on-one meetings with advisors to drive awareness and conversion.

Global Sales Force Collaboration

· Work closely with Hyatt Global Sales Directors handling consortia and luxury travel accounts to identify new business opportunities.
· Ensure Park Hyatt Bangkok is consistently represented in Hyatt's global sales activities, including client roadshows, trade shows and corporate presentations.
· Provide timely updates and success stories to the corporate sales network, showcasing best practices and reinforcing the hotel's positioning within the luxury leisure segment.
· Collaborate on joint account strategies to maximize referrals and strengthen relationships with global partners.

Revenue & Market Strategy

· Sit in weekly revenue meetings to present segment performance, market share analysis and strategies for improvement.
· Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to align sales initiatives with pricing strategies and demand forecasts.
· Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust tactics proactively.
· Ensure all activations are planned ahead of global holiday periods to secure demand.

Client Engagement & Negotiation

· Negotiate contracts and agreements with consortia, wholesalers and DMCs to maximize revenue opportunities.
· Deliver best-and-final offers upfront, ensuring compliance with Hyatt standards.
· Provide exceptional service to international clients, ensuring long-term loyalty and repeat business.

Collaboration & Reporting

· Work closely with Marketing & Communications to support tactical campaigns targeting luxury and leisure travelers.
· Partner with operations to ensure flawless delivery of VIPs stays and leisure packages.
· Maintain accurate records of account performance, pipeline and conversion ratios.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Competencies

·  Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in luxury hospitality, with proven track record in consortia, wholesale or DMC segments.
·  Experience in luxury hotel brands is a must.
·  Strong existing contacts with key Asian and international accounts
·  Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken); proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
·  Ability to analyze travel patterns, seasonality and market dynamics to create effective tactical offers.
·  Experience with dynamic connectivity platforms and package creation.
·  Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
·  Highly proactive, self-motivated and results-driven.
·  Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with revenue, marketing and operations teams.
