Application Development & Support Analyst
Surrey – Up to £40k


My client is currently seeking an Application Developer with Support experience to manage 2 internal applications. This is a Permanent position paying up to £40k a year and is based out of the clients Surrey office.

Experience required:

  • Have previously held development and support positions
  • Ideally suited to someone with 5-7 years’ experience in managing applications.
  • A strong foundation in project management standards for successful delivery of IT projects.
  • Experienced in Agile development standards.
  • Experience working with ASP.NET, JavaScript and SQL would be very beneficial.
  • Previous use of Intelex and Agility would be excellent.
    Good experience working as an IT Business Analyst within complex businesses.
  • Presentation and speaking skills essential, and the ability to use project management tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheet online project management tools
  • A patient and “customer first” manner essential for this role, and being prepared to go the extra mile in order to complete the task on time, and to high standard
  • A proactive and “can do” approach is important in this role.
  • Prioritisation and planning is a key feature of this role, and the role requires that the individual should be able to manage their time to provide successful outcomes per the department KPI’s.
  • Ideally you should have a degree in Computer Science or similar.



Role & Responsibilities:

  • Works with the owner of allocated strategic platforms, ie INTELEX, Agility, Dashboard, CONDECO, JDE.
  • Supports the delivery of product roadmap to Client Services team with the IT business partner for the account.
  • Delivers business analysis on requirements, providing a functional specification and associated testing documentation to IT team members, and gains approval for requirements through the IT Business Partner with the client services team.
  • Works with software owner/vendor to gain product roadmap awareness, specifications, technical support, and the relationship.
  • Provides 2nd and 3rd line support for allocated platforms.
  • Provides project resource to support commissioning and decommissioning activity.
    Delivers best practice security standards as part of the IT Security standards delivered under ISO 27001.
  • Training and awareness of products, services, and processes through the engagement of super users by appointment.
  • Works with the Change and Release function and the Client Services teams, to safely deliver updates and enhancements – and will act as a sponsor for any changes into the live environment where it impacts a customer
