We are looking for motivated and proactive interns to join our team at our U.S. Women’s Design Studio in New York! The internship is for a 6-month time period from May to November 2017 . HUGO BOSS Fashions, Inc. is an Equal Employment/Affirmative Action Employer (M/F/D/V).

As an intern on the Women’s Design team, you will assist with the productive development and textile process from concept to final sample. This internship requires an advanced level of Photoshop and Illustrator, as you will be working on artwork developments. You will also be learning and contributing to the product development team.

Please note that we will start recruiting at the beginning of March so please submit your application before March 22th, 2017.

Key responsibilities:

·  Maintain and update all fabric charts
·  Coordinate and track shipments
·  Source/purchase local fabrics, trims, etc.
·  Organize inspiration, print, and color materials
·  Research and create original prints and graphics
·  Help create seasonal presentation boards for color, print, and trend
·  Assist with daily office maintenance and administrative tasks
·  Various independent projects

Desired profile

Required qualifications:

·  Professional/educational knowledge in Product Development and Textiles
·  Advanced level of Photoshop and Illustrator
·  Highly organized and able to multi task
·  Understanding of and passionate about basic garment construction and textile science
·  Strong attention to detail
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
·  Able to take independent action to follow through on projects
·  Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
