UI/UX internship - Digital Retail / Ecommerce

We are looking for a motivated and proactive eCommerce UX/UI intern (m/f) as soon as possible for six months, supporting the shop management team within the division ‘Digital Retail’.

Key responsibilities:

·  Identify the on-site areas for UX/UI improvements
·  Benchmarks competitors and industry trends for different UX/UI improvements on the site
·  Create visual mock-ups based on proposed UX/UI improvements, specify key screen layouts and interactions and visual behaviors (transitions and animations)
·  Prototype the mock-ups for testing the concept
·  Prepare image assets and production files
·  Collaborate with other designers and developers

Desired profile

Required qualifications:

·  Undergraduate or graduate degree in a Design or UX/UI related field
·  Have a good understanding of basic UX/UI principles, user research is a plus
·  Have experience in mobile/desktop interface design, eCommerce experience preferred + Basic principles of HTML
·  Work collaboratively with product/feature owners, developers, and other designers and independently sometimes depending on projects
·  Tool: know Adobe CC – Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator or In-Design
·  Have experience with prototyping tools like Origami
·  Have excellent attention to details
·  Fluent in English and German
