We are looking for a motivated and proactive intern to join the Human Resources team of the U.S. corporate office in New York from June 2017 for at least 6 months. The internship is unpaid. HUGO BOSS Fashions, Inc.is an Equal Employment/Affirmative Action Employer (M/F/D/V).

Key responsibilities:

·  Spend 5 – 7 days in a NY HUGO BOSS retail store to understand one of the key target groups of Training Americas and one of our core business channels
·  Support Training Event Coordination (Pre and Post): Location Research & Comparison, Preparation, Evaluation and Reporting
·  E-Learning Management:
·  User Management (New User Upload, Password Requests, User deactivation)
·  eLearning completion reporting
·  eLearning trouble shooting in cooperation with HUGO BOSS Global Training department.
·  Train your successor on eLearning related tasks (see above)
·  Support other HR or Training related daily tasks & projects as needed
·  Possibility to participate or even assist in New York based training event(s)

·  Assist the Human Resources Team with managing the HUGO BOSS USA Internship Program
·  Review all internship applications, conduct phone interviews, and assist in selecting qualified candidates
·  Act as liaison for current interns, providing support with any issues, concerns, or complaints
·  Set up all new interns and conduct intern orientations (review policies, introductions, tours, etc.)
·  Assist with recruiting and coordinating interviews
·  Prepare and edit correspondence and memos from dictation, written, and verbal direction
·  Transfer acquired knowledge of process & procedures to incoming interns as needed
·  Provide telephone/front desk coverage
·  Assemble new-hire packets
·  Recording and maintaining attendance records
·  Maintaining employee training files
·  Assist in employee performance management process
·  Handle confidential information with integrity
·  Special HR projects and assignments as requested by HR team (i.e. audit reports, EEO, monthly census data, etc.)

Desired profile

Required qualifications:

·  Highly motivated and strong interest in Human Resources
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Able to work effectively in a team player as well as independently
·  Solution and result oriented - self starter who goes the extra mile
·  Curious mindset, fast learner, able to make constructive suggestions for optimization of processes
·  Strong computer skills (especially MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook)
·  German Language skills are a plus
·  Cultural adaptability and awareness (previous experience of living abroad a plus)
·  Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail
·  Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work effectively
·  Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
