Quality Auditor - Food Manufacturing

Job description
Our client are one of the UK's leading Food Manufacturers with a multi site presence and their customers include all the top retailers. To support new business at a key facility in Grimsby they are looking to appoint 3 Quality Auditors to work on a 4 on 4 off (days and nights) shift basis.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to:
* To prepare and deliver training to ensure employees understand the quality system and their responsibilities within this and food safety.
* To write up plant recipes into the correct format from NPD specifications, and control and document the issue of recipes to production personnel.
* To audit QA systems and operations, and report results to QA Manager.
* To assist in the control of quality equipment.
* Co-ordination of routine calibration of equipment and micro and laboratory analysis testing.
* Complete food safety audits in line with schedule .
The Ideal candidate will:
- Have a HACCP qualification
- Have previous experience of working in food manufacturing in a quality role
- Have a Degree in a food related subject
- Good people managment skills
