Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class retail banking and wealth management solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.
 
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Wealth Product Manager, Platform.
 
Principal responsibilities
Working in partnership with Regional Head of Business and Platform Implementation and Business Performance to champion change and prioritize platform investment/change requirements for the country.
Influence the global and regional vision to account for country specific needs as part of a global solution.
Serve as the country lead to deliver critical platform projects including, Strategic Financial Planner, Wealth Dashboard, Relationship Management Tools and digital solutions.
Manage program resources to deliver projects and business value in the country.  Serve as the subject matter expert in the client experience space and disseminate information and plans as part of the regional team.
Manage on track delivery of platform implementation and order book process management in Country.
Ensure product and solution development align with the Global and regional strategy and initiatives.
Promote platform utilization and ensure business plan development and tracking, and process enhancements in place.
Monitor at the country level the performance and returns generated by platforms and provide regular update to the Regional office.
Ensure adequate financial for Business and IT spend is available for review, in order to control costs/make balanced decisions, for the country implementation of Wealth Platform. Build analytics into business process.
Support global business to demonstrate effective contribution to the achievement of business goals
Work collaboratively with the regional and global teams in Financial Planning/platform development and deployment
Contribute input into the design, development and delivery of wealth solutions across the spectrum of relationship management tools, client reporting and aggregation
Leverage Regional and country Wealth capabilities in Financial Planning, Product & Advice Control, Product experts, Investment Insights in execution. 
Work collaboratively across all parts of Retail Banking and Wealth Management at regional and country levels with a customer-focus approach
Provide the personal leadership required with direct team and other stakeholders, fostering an environment of teamwork.
Role model the HSBC Group values as a leader within the Wealth management team, cultivating an environment that supports diversity and reflecting the HSBC brand.
Stakeholder engagement and management; understanding the business priorities and drivers as a trusted advisor.
Continually reassess the operational and regulatory risks associated inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
Ensure compliance and control standards in place, quality tracking and reporting
Ensure all new initiatives are structurally implementing to the business

Desired profile

Requirements
Minimum a degree from a recognized institution
Extensive experience in Wealth Management across product and distribution in a leading private client or wealth management firm
Direct experience in the Managed products area with deep understanding of sales process, structuring execution and settlement
Knowledge of regional practices and standards would be an asset and broad experience and understanding of the markets will be essential
Strong academic credentials with professional accreditations in investments
Excellent communication skills and ability to write persuasively and converse fluently in English
Proven track record of business results with strong commercial focus and rigor in implementation
