We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Global Payments Solutions (Internal Title), Vice President, Senior Product Manager, Global Payments Solutions (External Title)
Role Purpose
Build and sustain a world-leading, technology-enabled, globally-connected payments franchise, by providing insightful solutions to our clients, supporting their needs, achieving efficiency and growth objectives, as well as unlocking the potential of HSBC’s network for our international clients. The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:
· Generate revenue for for GPS through the development and management of GPS solutions in line with the GPS Product Life Cycle Methodology, compliant to the Bank’s risk management and regulatory standards.
· Ensure that GPS solutions meet the Bank’s and the needs of Target Customers and establishes HSBC’s position in The Philippines as a Market Leader in payments and cash management, and as a leading International Bank.
· Deliver sustainable GPS revenue and collaborate with Coverage Teams, Sales, and other Products to win client mandates and achieve profitable client relationships through the following:
· Promote and advocate Digital Payments in The Philippines, capitalize on investments made to ramp up and sustain our disbursements and collections volume and selectively acquiring recurring payments, e.g., employee payments, merchant payments and vendor payments, to support our clients and increase our market share.
· Retain core operating balances of existing customers through close engagement and delivery of consistent and reliable solutions to support the client’s efficiency and growth objectives.
· Adopt fair deposit pricing strategies, in co - ordination with WPB , to cover associated cost of maintaining LCY, USD and other FYC balances
Principal Accountabilities

· Solid understanding of the market and our client requirements across Corporate Treasury, Payments and Collections, Liquidity Management, including key risks, technology, processes, people and other areas that impact the delivery and use of GPS Solutions.
· Awareness of key enablers that impact GPS Solutions and domestic and cross-border businesses, e.g. economic, geographical, regulatory, market practices and technological advances.
· Sound understanding of regulations, internal and external statutory requirements, key risks, product design (including technical specifications) impacting all GPS Solutions in The Philippines.
Leadership & Teamwork
· Fostering a client-centric, values-driven culture throughout the Product Team, developing desirable behaviours and performance excellence.
· Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across the Lines of Business, Risk Stewards, Partners and Products to align strategy, delivery strategic and business outcomes and manage risks relevant to product management activities.

Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band level than stated above.
