We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Global Payments Solutions Sales Manager (Internal Title), Vice President, Global Payments Solutions, Sales (External Title)
Role Purpose
· Be conversant and knowledgeable in key market and industry trends which impact his/her assigned portfolio and demonstrate thought leadership by continuously pitching new ideas or insights.
· Anticipate and identify client opportunities through thorough analysis of the business performance, emerging themes from service reviews and strategic planning in collaboration with the client coverage teams.
· Maintain regular interaction and nurture relationships with key client contacts and internal stakeholders to ensure that we deliver a consistent solution for the customer
· Responsible for marketing and selling of the appropriate domestic and cross border liquidity and cash management solutions to his/her assigned portfolio consisting of multinationals, local corporates and financial instutions.
· Be accountable for meeting financial and non-financial key performance indicators and have end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle from opportunities identification, ideas or solutions pitching, commercial proposal preparation, securing customer’s mandate and handover to support teams for implementation and execution. The Sales Manager is expected to uphold the highest standards for customer solutioning to ensure fair and desired outcomes for the customer and the Bank.
· Develop and enhance the HSBC brand by delivering high quality client content (ex. client case studies or articles, client academies), marketing events and/or representing the Bank in industry associations or forums
· Provide post-deal reviews to aid future capabilities development

Experience, Skills and Qualifications
· Outstanding presentation, influencing and negotiating skills.
· Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory considerations
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
· Willingness to accept sales and marketing focused role. HSBC provides training to be able to pick up the relevant skills / knowledge required to perform the GPS Sales role effectively. In addition, guidance will be provided by senior members of the team.
· A background in Commercial Banking, specifically in payments and cash management would be useful.
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
