Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President Business Development Manager.
Principal responsibilities
Build and deepen relationship from a portfolio of existing Global Trade and Receivables Finance customers.
Tailoring innovative solutions using our full suite of products and services to meet the requirements of a sophisticated customer base.
Understanding customer’s commercial process in terms of transaction and finance needs, rapidly adapting to changes in their trading terms and market challenges.
Working with Commercial Banking Corporate Relationship Managers to ensure Trade facilities are well structured, efficiently established and activated in accordance with customer needs
Coordinating and working with other Group offices particularly, Greater China team to drive intra Group business and cross-border solutions to leverage the Bank's capabilities to its fullest.
Representing and reflecting HSBC's status in the market as the leading Trade Bank in Hong Kong and globally.
Desired profile
Requirements
Significant commercial banking experience with basic trade knowledge.
University graduates with a passion to succeed in a professional organization will be highly considered.
Demonstrated ability to drive business objectives with Commercial Banking corporate customers.
Experience in dynamic working environment with strong business management skills.
Strong interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills.
Proficient with the use of Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Fluency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
Less experienced candidates will be considered for Assistant Vice President Business Development
