We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join the Credit Control Service (CCS) UWS (Underwriting Services) Team in the role of Offshore Coordinator (12 months STA).

The purpose of the role is to ensure the responsibility for the oversight of the deployment of Contact Strategies in line with HSBC’s Strategic Roadmap , Global Standards and Regulatory environment. To coordinate and report on operational efficiencies & effectiveness. To manage relevant stakeholder’s expectation and requests which are delivered through coordination with GSC Underwriting & Verification team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Ensure GSC verification and underwriting Policy is documented, up to date, and reflects necessary Regulatory Compliance requirements.
· Work with QA/ Training Specialist to ensure that training materials/lesson plans for Offshore activities are comprehensive and inclusive of requirements to meet policy and compliance.
· Ensure internal policy & procedural documents are kept up to date (i.e. coordinate with business owners), and are read on a periodic basis and adhered to.
· Ensure BCP is developed, documented, maintained, updated and tested in line with HSBC internal control standards.
· Oversee GSC Verification operations to achieve performance levels that meet or exceed contracted performance agreement through consistent monitoring and necessary corrective action feedback to assist in the delivery of agreed KPI’s/ SLA measures.
· Constantly investigate and assess the opportunity to improve operational efficiency & effectiveness as it relates to GSC operations.
· Ensures the maintenance of a strong control environment, as it relates to all aspects of internal & external bank risk, customer journey and regulatory compliance Foster and help execute a strong control focused environment and remaining compliant in all matters.
· Acts as the primary point of contact for the Cards & Personal Loans Verification and Underwriting related matters.
· To actively participate in, and help direct GSC Verification and Underwriting performance assessment meetings with the involvement of the relevant stakeholders.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· Minimum one year experience in dealing with credit card & personal loan applications and are familiar with the current application & escalation processes.

· Some lending experience in either secured or unsecured space.

· Preferably experience in working with offshore support team.

· Ability to identify process gaps and improvement opportunity.

· Awareness of operational risk

· In-depth understanding of credit card & personal loan products.

· Passionate and enthusiastic of working with a large team based offshore and deliver the success.
