Role Overview
The translator's main responsibility will be to translate the bank's annual reports, highly restricted Board and shareholders' material, legal and regulatory documents, financial reports, summaries and any other documents as requested from the various businesses and functions in the bank.
Duties & Responsibilities
Impact on the Business/Function
· To provide an accurate translation of the requested documents from English to Arabic within the given regulatory timeframe for further submission to the Egyptian regulators
· To provide translation of regulatory instructions, circulars and regulations from Arabic to English
· To translate any documents required by the business from either Arabic to English and vice versa
Customers / Stakeholders
· Providing support to the business functions in translating various documents
Leadership & Teamwork
· Ability to efficiently cooperate the work and deliverables with the Company Secretary team and all other departments in the bank
Operational Effectiveness & Control
· Ensure that the original meaning of the translated documents is by way of high quality translation
· Undertaking ad hoc projects as and when required
· Ensuring strict confidentiality in adherence of information security given the nature of documents
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Experience & Qualifications
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Working knowledge/ translation skills in professional business, commercial, financial and legal terminology in both English and Arabic language.
· Ability to work under pressure and adherence to deadlines
· Good general knowledge and up-to-date economic and banking knowledge.
· Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
· Professional use of MS office.
· Financial background is preferable
