Job description

Role Title: Automation Tester

Role Purpose

·
Experience working in functional test automation frameworks and concepts.

·
Experience in developing the reusable components and automation scripts using automation tools like selenium, UFT or TOSCA and provide the automation execution results to management

·
Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery

Designing, developing and supporting frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation solutions

Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas

Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them

To review and understand application user requirement and functional spec.

·
Development of the Project Test Strategy / Plan together with various teams with in the bank

·
Overseeing all testing phases to ensure appropriate coverage and documentation – test plans including entry and exit criteria and expected results prior to test runs, test scripts, test logs and metric, etc.

·
Review / prepare test cases / scripts and data requirement for testing.

Escalate, lead and facilitate critical issue review and resolution on a need basis or during the scheduled checkpoint / status meetings

Leadership & Teamwork

Mentor team members on automation

Operational Effectiveness & Control

Major Challenges

·
Review / prepare test cases / scripts and data requirement for testing.

·
Execution of SIT test cases / scripts including functional and flow testing

Role Context

·
Measure and monitor progress during each test to ensure that the application is tested, validated, and within the allocated time and report if it meets or exceeds expectations.

·
Ensure that all testers follow the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.

·
Daily review with project team on SIT progress, defect and issue log to ensure task complete within agreed timeline

·
Compile Test Reports and Sign-off the SIT

·
Experience working in Agile Testing projects

· Management & Leadership of Regulatory, Compliance & Operational Risk

· Ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory issues and compliance of all internal controls.
· Implement and comply with Group Compliance Policies applicable.
· Should deliver considering the operational risk associated with the role.
· Observation of Internal Controls

· Adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars) and external regulatory requirements (including Sarbanes Oxley), including the management of operational risk, security and adherence to the Group's standards of ethical behavior.
