Role Overview

To provide a high quality, customer driven service by pro-actively identifying and addressing customer needs in order to assist HSBC in the achievement of its plan.

Duties & Responsibilities

·
Maintain operational standards and efficiency and minimize operational risk.

·
Ensure compliance with BIM/FIM/Local Laws and audit recommendations

·
Process all Outward clearing cheques within SLA

·
Ensure compliance with Central bank and internal guidelines.

·
Discharge duties for branch ATM or BCDMs if present and allocated.

·
Register & delivery of all RBWM Credit Cards/ Debit Cards and retained cards.

·
By carrying out end of day balancing for Debit cards, credit cards and retained cards on a daily basis and ensuring proper balancing procedures are adhered to at all times.

·
Ensure all Cards older than 75 days are cancelled and shredded in the presence of executive and reversed / signed off by Executive.

·
Register & delivery of all RBWM PINs and Cheque Books Balancing and Reversals.

·
By carrying out end of day balancing for PINs and Cheque Books on a daily basis and ensuring proper balancing procedures are adhered to at all times.

·
Ensure all PINs are cancelled as per procedure and shredded in the presence of executive and reversed and signed off by Executive.

·
Receive cash deposits in LCY and FCY and detect forged from genuine

·
Pay cash and process relative vouchers after verifying customer's signature

·
Prepare and deliver cash bundles to chief cashier in order to keep his/her cash drawer within set cash holdings limit

·
Check host and UBT totals and perform cash balancing during the day
