Role Overview
Since the Supplied Services activities are a volume business, it is paramount that the role holder effectively manages the resources of the team. Always be mentally and practically prepared to work beyond the existing boundaries or rules for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the SS team.

Key objectives are to identify and realize agreed savings, to drive efficiency by promulgating the utilization of Production Management tools to eliminate, automate, streamline, innovate and share best practices.

The jobholder must understand basic concepts of vendor management and adopt a process of continuous improvement in order to strengthen operational controls and governance with the aim of mitigating risks to the Bank.

The job holder will also be the responsible officer in managing the following activities:
Transaction Print (statements, Bank correspondence to customers, customer advices), Records Management, Courier and Logistics.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Provide operational support to HSBC Kuwait (Businesses / Support Functions).
· Drive a continuous quality improvement and service excellence culture across all SS activities including mail room , GWIS scanning , archiving , record management & venders relationship & risk management and clearing activities , whilst ensuring that costs and headcount benefits are identified, realized and delivered to the business
· Leverage best practice across similar business activities to enhance service and improve efficiency.
· Facilitate unit cost reduction for processes, through automation, standardisation and elimination of waste and improvements in staff productivity.
· To display entrepreneurial drive, balancing risk with return.
· Cheques Handling (from vendor outsourcing perspective), Transaction Print (statements, Bank correspondence to customers, customer advices), Records Management and Courier and Logistics.
· Driving and executing HBME KWT's usage of scanning / electronic storage of documents, by i) moving away from reliance on usage of hard copy documentation, ii) ensuring all hard copy documents are scanned to mitigate risks arising from business disruption, iii) implementing a robust action plan to back-scan all archived hard copy records.

Qualifications :

Experience & Qualifications
·  Has minimum of 3 years of HSBC experience gained across a variety of roles and businesses.
·  University degree.
·  Has sound knowledge of banking operations including Payments, Account Servicing and Credit Operations.
·  Has an excellent knowledge of Group procedures and guidelines.
·  Well-developed project management skills.
