Hang Seng Summer Internship Programme 2018

The Summer Internship Programme (June – End of August 2018) offered at Hang Seng Bank is an intensive learning and development experience, giving candidates a valuable opportunity to gain exposure at the Best Domestic Bank in Hong Kong*. You can develop an understanding of our businesses, sharpen your skill sets, and network with professionals of the industry.
Candidates will be assigned to one of the below departments, to be coached by our banking professionals, and make significant contribution to the business and team goals:

· Audit (INA)
· Commercial Banking (CMB)
· Corporate Sustainability (CSD)
· Financial Control (FIN)
· Operations, Services and Technology (HOST)
· Retail Banking & Wealth Management (RBWM)
What the Program Offers
· Discovery Programme and other training programs for your good understanding of Hang Seng's core businesses and structure
· Various assignments to sharpen your skill sets and network with professionals of the industry
· Mentoring support and guidance on work performance from a designated mentor

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who We Look For
·  Non-final year university students from all disciplines are welcome
·  Candidates who are eager to partake at least 10 weeks of summer internship, with commitment from 1 June to 31 August 2018 , followed by a part-time employment in the Bank for 6-11 Months an advantage
·  Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
·  Strong self-motivation and willingness to learn
·  Proficiency in English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
·  Good knowledge of application software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) & Chinese Word Processing
·  Permanent residents of Hong Kong or holding a valid Hong Kong work visa (e.g. No Objection Letter for non-local students studying in Hong Kong)
