Global Service Delivery
Within HSBC Operations, Services and Technology, Global Service Delivery is a leader in the development of services and processes that are designed around the customer and enable the firm to demonstrate to regulators that its processes and ways of working will deliver consistently high standards of compliance. Every day, customers all over the world are paying bills, buying homes and setting up companies and every day, Global Service Delivery teams are making sure all this happens smoothly.
Role Purpose
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. In this role, you will:
· Process productivity and quality targets are set, monitored and achieved to ensure optimum resource utilization and achievement of business objectives and customer Performance Level Agreements (PLAs);
· Processes are regularly reviewed to identify improvements, which will enhance operational and financial effectiveness;
· Work is organized and processed / completed within agreed timescales. Ongoing monitoring and review of workflow and priorities are in accordance with procedures;
· MI and other business data requirements are completed accurately and supporting statistics/reports/returns are presented to business/management within agreed timescales;
· Establish and maintain effective relationship with customer business areas and identify areas of service improvements;
· Procedural changes / new initiatives are reviewed, fully communicated to and implemented by the teams under control. Acquire and update knowledge on procedures related to relevant processes;
· To assist the manager in running the operations;
· Effective communication with peers in terms of best practice sharing to ensure that optimum use of resource is made across the sections and that a robust cross training plan is in place to multi skill operation teams;
· Contribute towards building one GSFR team across sites & Regions.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Diploma or degree in any discipline or relevant work experience commencement with the position;
· At least 12 months in a supervisory role, with exposure to appraisals, counselling, team building, and staff development;
· Experience in a processing environment;
· Ability to speak and understand English fluently, write business letters and reports, and have good conversational / telephone skills;
· Ability to learn quickly, transfers knowledge appropriately, understand and interpret numeric data. Evidence of good analytical, statistical and data mining skills to study trends and make projections. Production management skills and ability to initiate process improvements;
· Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with, relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people.
· Ability to drive the team to achieve individual and team targets as per the SLA/PLA;
· Ability to exercise analytical and judgemental skills in considering vendor objections pertaining to verifications;
· Relationship management with a wide range of stakeholders;
· Perform investigations & complete relevant follow-up actions pertaining to staff vetting;
· Work from 09:00 to18:00, Mon to Fri.
