Compliance KYC IT provides in house technology for client due diligence of top tier CMB and Global Banking and Markets clients. This includes a tool to capture client level due diligence information, document repository, workflow tool and Data/MI.
The KYC Technology Solution Architecture job is accountable to work with the KYC Portfolio and Platform Architects, Technical Lead & Engineers to define the detailed solution design (incl. Story Decomposition) for stories in backlog.
Key duties include:

Accountable for ensuring the products & services are supported by the right architectures and solutions meet the customer needs
·
Accountable for ensuring the design of the product solutions are cost effective and maintained through the agile development lifecycle, managing the flow of the backlog of design activities
·
Working with Ops Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc) are resolved and that any design related issues are addressed in a timely manner
·
Convert requirements into actionable product/service requirements that feed Technology solutions development & influence service direction
·
Responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with the platform architecture and roadmap, group standards and policies and the overall enterprise architecture for their function
Desired profile
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Strong understanding of KYC within the financial sector
·
Will possess expert knowledge of the Pega KYC platform and BPM concepts
·
Will possess good working knowledge of Java
·
Will possess good knowledge of UML, XML and XSD modelling concepts
·
Familiar with SQL and database procedures and of Model driven Design.
·
Will possess working knowledge of JSON and API best practices
·
Will possess good understanding of cyber security design principles
·
Ability to create architecture design artefacts for communication to non-technical and technical stakeholders as appropriate.
·
Track record delivering in a controlled environment, including ability to produce designs for, and assess designs within a Technical Design Authority
·
Provide a consultancy role to IT and business teams where appropriate.
·
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
·
Pragmatic / lean / agile development techniques
·
Takes ownership, pride in delivering projects
The base location for this role is 8CS, London.
