The Group Limits Exposure & Activity Management (GLEAM) is a part of Capital program under the Global Finance IT – Capital & ALM.
 
GLEAM gathers risk asset and customer data from around the Group and computes credit risk weighted asset values. This information is used to:
Manage the Group's credit risk
Report to the FSA
Report to the markets
Assist sites in their risk management and reporting to local regulators
Provide inputs for COREP reporting
 
Principal Responsibilities:
 
GLEAM is one of the Group flagship systems. GLEAM has the ETL Development team spread across GLTi and GLTm. The developer will work as a member of the GLTm team. His primary responsibility will include:
Go through the functional specification document to understand the requirements for changes requested by the business
Conduct impact analysis and identify the technical changes required to be done to meet the functional/business requirements
Prepare technical documents based on the functional specifications
Coding, writing unit test cases, prepare unit test data and conduct unit testing
Review the deliverables of other team members
Support other test phases
- SIT/UAT/OAT/Live Implementation
Follow standards, procedures, guidelines as defined by the organization and project
Report status, issues and risks to team leader

Desired profile

Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant discipline
Possess between 1 to 3 years’ IT experience in software design, development and testing
Technical hands on development experience using DataStage Parallel version (v8 and above)
Strong experience with database management system (DB2 preferred) and comfortable in writing medium to complex SQL queries
Experience on basic UNIX commands and scripting.
Experience with Control-M scheduling tool is an added advantage
Experience with PL/SQL is an added advantage
