Summary

As a member of the Release & Environments Management Team, you will be responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance and governance of environments and their interfaces with other Group Systems. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that environments remains robust and healthy, and continues to be fully supportive of the business demands for the foreseeable future.

Participate in Project kick-off meetings

Collect Environment requirements

·
Provide support estimates for Environment Activities

·
Day to Day Tasks

·
Environment planning scheduling and allocation

·
Coordination and communication with key stakeholders

·
Collection and submission of DASD requirements to ITO for new HUB environments

·
Setup environments as per the requirements and perform health checks

·
Setup Links/Interfaces from Iseries Environments to Other Systems

·
Execution of Batch runs in Test Environments

·
Resolve environment related issues during Batch and Online testing

·
Proactively monitor and resolve environment related defects in QC

·
Refresh of environments with fresh production data and masking of the data

·
Promotion of code release request via MKS Implementer

·
Management of access control in isefies environments

·
Review and approval of iSeries Profile Creation Requests in GSR

·
Incident Management for server related issues (e.g. MQ, Connect Direct, Server down etc.)

·
Promote efficiencies in environment builds and other manual tasks through process enhancement and automation

·
Promote awareness and best practices for the efficient utilization of environments, as well as sharing of environments to reduce the ITO cost

·
DASD monitoring, allocation and clean-up

·
Maintenance of up-to-date Environments Inventory on sharepoint

Optimization and Demise of Environments

Experience

·
Technology Skills

·
2-5 years of experience on iSeries platform (AS400, RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE)

·
Good iSeries operational knowledge (e.g. Subsystems, Backup and Restore process etc.)

·
Good knowledge of MQ, Connect Direct and FTP interface setup in AS400

·
Test Environment Build, Maintenance, Support and Manage access controls on iSeries platform

·
Knowledge of code promotion/ release to different test and Development environments via source control tools.

·
Good knowledge on work management, DASD monitoring, allocation and clean-up

·

Good working knowledge of RTC, RDP, MKS Implementer and/or ARCAD
