Role Title: Software Engineer

Business: IT Infrastructure Delivery

Your responsibilities will include:

The zSeries Storage Engineer is responsible for leading, building and supporting the zSeries Storage hardware and software infrastructure.
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities
• Perform technical support to users and perform change requests from users
• Setup automation to reduce manual interventions in the Storage infrastructure
• Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity
• Risk and Cost Management
• Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered platform services
• Business stakeholder management
• Vendor license and management
• Perform a Technical Project Management role for large zSeries infrastructure projects
• zSeries Storage hardware/Software design, configuration, implementation and support
• Monitor the capacity of zSeries products
• Generate capacity usage reports

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

1) Computer related major
2) Experience in Mainframe (storage, z/OS, DB2 or CICS) preferred
3) Strong written and verbal communication ability in English
4) Can work across cultures in a global organization
