Role Purpose:
To manage FX, MM, Derivative settlement Processing which includes process optimization, improvement and project management.
To lead new products to ensure flow from Client to Front Office to Back Office runs smoothly.
To provide support to the team supervisors and ensure the daily operations are running smoothly.
To liaise closely with internal/external clients and overseas offices to ensure all operational issues are addressed promptly and properly.
To ensure internal procedures are complied with Regulatory/FIM requirements and continuously adhered to the required standards and best practices.
To conduct on-going productivity and process reviews to reduce operating cost and improve efficiency.
To ensure GSC KL team’s performance meet the SLA which includes conducting periodical offshore governance meeting.
The role requires working closely with management in various locations and key stakeholders around the firm to develop short, medium and long-term goals for managing operation risk for fixed income settlement perspective.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Ensures appropriate internal controls are in place within the FX/MM/Derivatives operations area and the procedures are FIM compliant.
· Leads and coordinates the operational aspect of projects that are related to the equities business.
· Supports Front Office and overseas offices on daily operations issues or ad hoc queries.
· Delivers high quality customer services and introduce best practices into the work place.
· Controls all costs that are spent in the equities operations area.
· Contributes to new business proposals related to FX/MM/Derivatives business and new equities strategies.
· Aware of the operational risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
· Observe and maintain internal control standards associated with HSBC policies / FIM requirements, across Legal, Compliance, Credit, Operations and other key stakeholder groups.
· Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
· Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.

· Knowledge of FX/MM/Derivatives business is essential
· Experience working as settlement processor
· Experience working under the environment where seek for the mind-set of change.
· Proven experience in change/project management in a growing / evolving business
