We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Business: IWPB Technology

Principal responsibilities

·  Contribute in all phases of the project lifecycle
·  Provide delivery advice with consideration of technical direction for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of HSBC IT systems to business
·  Assume the role of consulting in the web professional field, help the team solve technical problems, clear technical obstacles, and provide business with expert-level technical liberation solutions
·  Lead the team to complete the delivery for business

Requirements

·  Java 8, SpringBoot, Maven
·  Node.js,  React
·  CI/CD - tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus
·  Test automation technology such as Selenium, Junit, and Cucumber
·  REST APIs
·  Application Monitoring – Splunk, AppDynamics
·  DevOps processes and experience
·  Troubleshoot issues and analyse root cause
·  Strong understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery and the principles and practices of Scrum, Kanban and BDD

What additional skills will be good to have? 

·  Knowledge on clound platform. eg AWS would be an advantage
·  Team management experience would be advantage
·  Knowledge on banking knowledge would be an advantage
