Job description

The Senior Product Manager role is based within PCM.
 
The role of the Senior Product Manager is to support the Global Head of Receivables in overseeing and executing product strategies with respect to the development, business management, risk mitigation and commercialization of the receivables products portfolio regionally. The receivables product portfolio includes paper based products such as lock box, negotiated deposit cash handling for PCM clients, information based receivables management solutions and remote deposit products via image technology.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and drive the execution of global commercialization and marketing strategy on the global receivables solution, increase market shares in line with sectors’ strategy for Global Business, and contribute to the financial objectives of the business.
Design and lead the execution of global strategy on receivables including platform alignment, ever-greening, evolution and deployment in the region. 
Contribute in formulation of longer term global product strategy, and next generation solution requirement by providing insight on customer needs, emerging market trends, infrastructure development and the regulatory environment for the region, leveraging on market insights, market analysis, and inputs from in-country receivables teams.
Deliver sustainable expense savings and expedite revenue realization by working with Operations and Client Management to improve solution fulfilment process efficiency or outsource non-core functions, etc.
Work closely with the global receivables teams for execution of global strategies at regional level.
Develop good contact with the external PCM market, e.g. industry associations, customers, competitors.

Desired profile

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Proven experience in product management, commercialisation, operations, technology or business transformation.
Specialist industry experience with strong risk, AML background in cash management
Strong experience in driving cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
Expertise in receivables products an advantage
Working knowledge and keen understanding of bank operations, payment systems and technology
Experience with emerging payment technology such as mobile, familiarity with Corporate Treasury
Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. 15% International Travel
A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
Consistently achieved objectives set for them and taken action to improve their own performance
Self awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
Experience of making prompt and practical business decision, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes
Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
Experience of building effective customer relationships which create customer advocacy
The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London.
