Job description
The Senior Process Consultant role is based within Global Change Delivery UK.
The role of the Senior Process Consultant is to manage the end-to-end process re-engineering / improvement activities that will achieve a measurable change to the organisation. Senior Process Consultants will often play a people / team management role within the projects / programmes they work on. As members of the GCD management team, they may also have line management responsibility for a group of more junior resources within their resource pool (as related to their job family).
Your responsibilities will include:
Primarily, the SPC will be responsible for shaping, managing and executing a significant process re-engineering effort within one of the priority programmes.
The SPC works at the portfolio / programme level and will be typically accountable for delivering either the re-engineering workstream goals of a wider business transformation programme or a complex re-engineering project.
The SPC will also have responsibility for a pool of Process Consultants and maybe also Business Analysts (people management, performance management, resource management, professional development etc.). The SPC may be aligned to a business domain / function and / or type of change specialism.
Desired profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. The SPC must have 5 years of experience working on process reengineering initiatives in HSBC or other large complex organisations. Financial services organisation experience highly preferred. Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise ideal.
Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Proven experience and application in process variability reduction (DMAIC), process redesign (DMADV) and waste reduction (LEAN, Kaizen) principles.
Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Proven track record of building, fostering and maintaining best practice solutions and tools to improve / optimise work flow, identifying opportunities for synergy and integration, simplifying complex processes and maximising production with fewer resources.
The base location for this role is London, Sheffield, Chester, Leeds, Birmingham, Hamilton.
