Retail Distribution
Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 254 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Manager, Branch Resources Management, reporting to Head of Branch Resources Management and Staff Development.
Principal responsibilities:
· Drive the workforce strategy to cope with business growth plan & to ensure sustainable staffing model is in place.
· Initiative and launch new branch staffing model to achieve the operational efficiency, cost saving & the launch of all new footprint initiatives.
· Review manpower planning at RSS, Areas and Branch levels to cope with all the strategic initiatives and business growth plan
· Drive and enhance the performance review, pay review and goal setting etc. to ensure all the business initiatives & the Group/ Bank's directions are being
· Conduct regular review on pay competitiveness for RSS roles with HR to ensure the pay structure and scale remain competitive against the markets.
· Act as a trusted business partner for people matters to key stakeholders and work closely with HR to handle complicated staff issues such as staff grievances cases, disputes among staff/ function managers as well as termination cases.
· Provide professional people advice on hiring, retention, development, staffing model and team structure to key stakeholders.
Requirements
· Solid retail banking experience, with exposure in retail distribution
· Proven track record in operation management, branch process, control and workflow design
· Good people leadership to engage, motivate and develop team
· Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
· Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
· University degree in Business or related disciplines is preferred
· Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
·
Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
