The Implementation Manager
- Digital Lending role is based within Business Implementation. This sits within the COO function of UK CMB.
The role of the Implementation Manager
- Digital Lending will bring strong industry expertise in defining the requirements and operating model of our enhanced lending channels including customer journey, analytical requirements for scoring and processing of applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead definition of detailed requirements to deliver a market leading digital lending proposition to commercial banking customers
Ensure requirements are robust and reflect best practice
Drive the delivery of functionality, usually in an agile fashion bringing revenue generating functionality online as soon as possible
Work closely with subject matter experts on the various digital channels as well as the wider business in defining requirements
Work within and lead as appropriate a team combining business implementation, change delivery and software delivery colleagues
Adheres to our Group values and behaviours, authentically engaging with team, colleagues and internal customers
Demonstrates professionalism and confidence
Ensure processes operate effectively and controls and credit constraints are wholly applied
Be aware of the high risk nature of scored lending and ensure screening, processes and procedures are robust
Bring expertise from industry on leading controls and practices
Desired profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Debt
Experience working in relevant environment/s
Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Commercial or Business Banking
Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Deliver Scored Lending solutions, direct to customers, through digital channels. is desirable but not essential
Proven experience of leading the delivery of an excellent customer service and proactively look for innovative ways to improve the service delivered to customers
A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
Proven experience of leading others and creating an environment that supports and inspires people to develop and deliver
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
Dealt effectively with highly complex commercial information and business challenges to create strategic business plans which effectively deliver results
Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery
Experience of effectively using your knowledge of credit products, processes and risks to make fair and informed lending decisions that meet customers' needs
The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, London.
