Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class retail banking and wealth management solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Customer Proposition and Segments Manager.
Principal responsibilities
Drive the implementation of the HSBC Group proposition strategy in Hong Kong to achieve business growth
Work with Products, Channels and Marketing teams to acquire mid segment customers and deepen customer relationship
Monitor promotional campaign effectiveness to achieve planned return on investment
Manage the implementation of Group projects and local initiatives to enhance the mid segment proposition
Ensure proper delivery of products and services for mid segment customers by reviewing and monitoring the activities performed by support functions
Coordinate and engage with Group functions to ensure adherence to proposition standards and to deliver added value that will optimise the performance and appeal of the proposition
Effectively build, train, motivate and develop talents within the team
Maintain and observe regulatory requirements and HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by auditors and regulators
Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
Desired profile
Requirements
University degree in an appropriate discipline
Strong experience in retail banking, product or segment management with exposure in marketing and distribution management
Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Independent with strategic thinking capability and project management skills
Excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills
