We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Principal responsibilities :
-Team Leadership and Management:
Collaborate with stakeholders to align service goals with business objectives.
Lead a team of service engineers, administrators, and support staff.
Set clear goals, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
-Service Design and Implementation:
Work closely with architects and engineers to design and implement services.
Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
Oversee service deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
-Incident Management and Troubleshooting:
Coordinate incident response efforts during service disruptions.
Investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
Maintain incident documentation and post-incident reviews.
Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
-Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
identify opportunities for service enhancement, cost optimization, and process streamlining.
Requirements
• A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
• Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills; excellent team player with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Experience of working in a DevOps focused environment and working in an Agile Team
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
• Solid knowledge of the use and development of RESTFul APIs and technologies.
• Solid knowledge of Linux distributed platform, WAS, Oracle, Java, Hibernate, Spring, SpringBoot, Web services, JSON, RMAL
• Solid knowledge of Javascript (ES5, ES6), HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Angular, Redux, Nodejs, npm, webpack, Ajax
• Solid knowledge of SQL, DDL and database design
• Solid knowledge of BDD, Continuous Integration, Selenium, continuous deployment and testing
• Solid knowledge of external cloud providers such as AWS.
• Flexible and adaptable in accommodating change of requirement and willing to take new responsibilities when necessary.
• Knowledge on Investment Products, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architecture discipline and the ability put the governance into practice, knowledge of industry standard architecture frameworks would be an advantage
• Technical knowledge in Cyber Security experience would be an advantage
