We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

·  Provide technical leadership to the engineers to ensure the best pratices and engineering princilples are followed.
·  Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensureing they are delivered on time and with good quality.
·  Collaborate with project managers, product owners and other stakeholders to define the project requirement and deliverables.
·  Design and implement scable, maintainable, and efficient software arthitecture.
·  Ensure the solution is reviewed and approved in the required governance forums, esnure FSA alignment is reviewed and embeded in the solution design.
·  Participate in hands-on coding and development activities, setting an example for the team. Oversee the debugging and resolution of technial issue.
·  Ensure the implementation of robust testing strategies, including unit test, integration test and automated tests.
·  Review/ensure the technical design/code structure is technically coherent and future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations.
·  Indentify and implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
·  Stay updated with emerging technoliges and instry best practices.
·  Ability to work with different stakeholders from different locations (China, Hong Kong, UK, India)

Requirements

·  A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a major or minor in computer science or related field.
·  Proven experience in a technical leadership role within a software development environment.
·  Strong experince in software development, arthitecture and design.
·  Solid and proficient skills in public cloud (GCP/AWS/Ali) and programming language (Python/Java).
·  Experience on design and implement DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipleline. Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Jira/Confluence.
·  Experience on design and implement Kubernetes solution and relate cloud native tooling.
·  Possess hand on project management with Agile – Scrum methodology discipline.
·  Strong communication, presentation & influencing skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments.
·  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
·  Good command of written and spoken English.
·  Working experience in landing an AI solution / service to financial industry is a plus.
·  Working experience in Risk and Analytics area is a plus.
