We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Actuarial Analyst - GLOBAL INTEGRATED REPORTING.
Principal responsibilities
· Support the GIR team in the development of current tools, implementing new functionality, but more importantly, implementing automation and other efficiencies. These tools are actuarial models, used in IFRS17 valuation and forecasting. These will include the models for aggregating asset data, calibrating and evaluating proxy functions, calculating insurance accounting line items as well as models for planning and forecasting.
· Carry out various testing programmes to ensure new models and workflows are compliant with standards.
· Work closely with local actuarial teams to ensure smooth execution of the IFRS17 reporting process.
· Maintain a portfolio of asset aggregation tools built in Alteryx
Requirements
· Degree in a numerate subject
· Keen interest in developing models
· Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of planning and problem solving.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
· Ability to bring analytical rigour and structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined problems.
· Strong communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations).
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
