We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Reporting and Analysis Manager - PORTFOLIO, POLICY AND CONTROL.
Principal responsibilities:
The job holder will support the team under Wholesale Credit Risk Management of HSBC China:
· Produce and develop wholesale credit related reporting (including internal reports, management information and regulatory returns).
· Prepare data for regular credit stress testing and other stress testing related analytics.
· Be responsible for the quality of data used for input into regulatory and portfolio reports by addressing any data inconsistencies found in the validation process.
· Support the team to conduct data analytics and portfolio management related tasks and explore the opportunity to streamline and automate the process.
· Support the team to conduct regular risk control related operation and explore the opportunity to streamline and automate the process.
· Be the first point of contact in answering baseline questions from internal stakeholders and participating in resolution of more complex issues discovered.
· Take ownership of the assigned process and address the questions by liaising with the existing area experts.
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills:
· Excellent analytical skills, including analytical languages (SQL, SAS, Python etc.).
· Experience working with MI visualization tools such as Tableau / Qlikview.
· Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
· Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude.
· Be change oriented and able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience:
· At least two-year experience in either corporate banking or wholesale risk management.
· At least two-year experience in either portfolio management, in multiple countries or in multiple corporate sectors.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
