Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this dedicated team in the role of Recruitment Manager.
Principal responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers, HR Generalists, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) team and in-house recruiters to provide a proactive recruitment service and meet business hiring plans
Identify and implement sourcing strategies that are effective in talent attraction and compliant with current legislation and HSBC values
Manage stakeholder relationships and develop key lines of communication with hiring managers, candidates, wider HR team and external resourcing suppliers
Accountable for assessment procedures to ensure that applicants are assessed fairly and that HSBC continue to recruit a diverse population into all business areas
Support recruitment process streamlining to drive operational excellence and achieve delivery that is timely, within budget and compliant with HSBC policies
Maintain an awareness of competitor activity and identify potential talent acquisition opportunities through market mapping and competitor analysis
Develop relationships with preferred suppliers to build their knowledge of HSBC culture and to gather market intelligence proactively
Desired profile
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or General Management
Recruitment experience in in-house, search or outsourced delivery models with demonstrated commercial delivery and strong track record of recruitment process and operational management
Working knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System (e.g. Taleo) and experienced user of LinkedIn and other social media platforms
Knowledge of market trends and best practice with an ability to incorporate multiple perspectives in evaluating and solving problems
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Good organisational skills with an ability to effectively prioritise and meet critical deadlines
Excellent communication skills (English and Chinese)
