We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of DBS Graduate Development Advisor.
In this role, you will:
Be part of the DBS Global Emerging Talent Team, responsible for all Emerging Talent Programmes in India as the local Development Advisor.
Day to day responsibilities included and not limited to:-
Programme Management / Rotations and Placements
§ Work closely with the business to drive the Emerging Talent development strategy in line with the business direction and focus
§ Management of rotations to ensure delivered seamlessly and meeting business needs, this includes resolving any placement challenges and end of programme destination roles and graduation.
§ Delivery of projects across Emerging Talent, including training review, on programme development interventions and partnership with local CoE.
§ Local stakeholder management, this includes senior leaders, line managers and all emerging talent.
§ Build and own HR relationships across multiple areas
§ Performance Management of Emerging Talent, including poor performance, disciplinary and breaches to company policies and procedures
§ Ensure accurate graduate performance and rotation data is collated, recorded and monitored.
Induction Programme Management
§ Support the review, design, planning and execution of the Global DBS Induction Programme.
§ Manage and execute local India annual induction, ensuring seamless execution of all logistics – this is an annual event of c.400 employees with huge exposure to leadership across the organisation
§ Lead and implementation of on-going learning interventions and post programme activities across the India Market
M.I.
§ Ensure MI is kept up-to-date and relevant for the local market, reporting into all global reporting
§ Analyse metrics to inform our key successes and areas for development – using this data to drive new innovative solutions.
§ Work in partnership with the Emerging Talent Recruitment team to prepare annual season review and conduct stakeholder review meetings where necessary
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
· Proven experience within Graduate Recruitment / Development (ideally within a global financial or professional services environment)
· Effective communication, listening and stakeholder responsiveness. The ability to work with employees at all levels, across different functions and diverse cultures.
· Good HR technical skills and previous generalist experience would be a distinct advantage.
· Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision. Individual will need to be able to be proactive and work with autonomy
· Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
· Good understanding of performance management processes and frameworks
· Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Experience of HR systems / databases
· Will work closely with global contacts responsible for graduate recruitment and development
· Ability to manage processes end to end and simplify to make more efficient – innovation and creativity is highly encouraged
· Willing to work cross-divisionally and at a Group level to share ideas and best practice amongst counterparts across HSBC
