Responsible for:

·
Participating in the continued development of architecture standards

·
Participating in the delivery of architectures for business solutions

·
Participating in the introduction of new techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified usecases, via the Technology Design Board (TDB) & Technology Catalogue Board (TCB)

·
Developing an understanding of appropriate Group business systems, their associated requirements and technology usages.

·
Staying abreast of technology trends and advise IT and the business about potential benefits/impacts

·
Providing a consultancy role to IT and business teams where appropriate

·
Where appropriate, provide full life cycle architectural guidance to development teams and ensure quality technical deliverables

·
The Architect is excellent in implementing Sitecore CMS projects and can easily integrate Sitecore CMS with other systems and software components.

·
Be responsible for the technical implementation of projects in Sitecore CMS and/or ASP.NET MVC.

·
Understand and define automated process for ALM using Azure or in-premises infrastructure.

Duties include:

Engaging customers with effective & relevant communication around products and services at the right time in an appropriate style. Engaging confidently with customers, colleagues and stakeholders

·
Maintaining stakeholder relationships, remaining calm under pressure:

-- HTS Software Developers & Architects

-- HTS IT Operations Managers

-- SFR Information Security Risk Managers

·
Actively promote the benefits of architecture, accepted best practice techniques, standards and tools to other areas of the Group and external suppliers where necessary

·
Present and brief the Architecture community/DevOps teams on key projects/technologies

·
Receive mentoring and coaching from Principal & Lead Architect(s)

·
Perform architecture reviews on aligned Global Business / Global Function systems and ensure both appropriate peer review and Solution Architecture Board (SAB) endorsement is obtained

·
Ensure that any new technology products are taken through the Technology Design Board (TDB) clear choice/Proof of Concept

·
Ensure that all existing/new service patterns/deployments guides are taken through the Technology Catalogue Board (TCB)

·
Adhere to evergreening priorities for Global Business/Global Functions

·
Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group's standards of ethical behaviour

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Experience required:

· 
At least two years with a national or global scale corporate IT environment in an architectural context

· 
Can demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret complex business and IT requirements, with particular reference to non-functional requirements

· 
Development experience of enterprise scale deployments in Agile environments

· 
Has significant experience of delivering corporate web sites in a variety of technologies, in particular with .Net and specifically Sitecore CMS.

· 
Be a technical expert in their field (e.g. Sitecore CMS, ASP.NET, CI/CD pipeline).

· 
Has designed solutions on hybrid and pure play public cloud infrastructure

· 
Have in-depth conceptual functional and non-functional knowledge of technologies including: Networking, Server OS internals, benchmarking, performance monitoring, measurement and optimisation
