We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Product Specialist Trader, Fixed Income.
 
Principal responsibilities
Provide Fixed Income Advisory services to Relationship Managers and their clients, including the execution of trades in a timely and accurate manner, new issue write-ups, providing market insight, and credit analysis.
Prepare an informative daily market update with tradeable ideas where possible for Relationship managers.
Construct fixed income portfolios for clients
Participate in Fixed Income Plus process for clients, including portfolio construction, portfolio evaluation and switching ideas.
Help in marketing Fixed Income Plus to Relationship managers.
Find relative value trade ideas and actively advise Relationship Managers.
Provide the best Fixed Income platform possible for a private bank in Hong Kong.

Desired profile

Requirements
Results orientated team player with a good working knowledge of fixed income markets.
Able to construct custom portfolios to fulfill the needs of the client.
Highly observant, alert and sensitive to market-moving news.
Ability to analyze financial data and interpret global economic and political issues that leads to follow-up action
Effective interpersonal skills to solve problems smoothly and efficiently.
Refined decision making ability combined with a character of high integrity to ensure every action is for the benefit of The Bank.
Advanced skills in Excel and Bloomberg.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
