We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Premier Associate

The Jersey contact centre serves Premier customers around the world, with a key focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

We are looking for 10 customer centric contact centre agents to start in our May 2020 academy. Upon joining HSBC you will be provided with a 6 week training academy in which you will learn how to be successful in your role through a mixture of classroom, on-line & practical training.

This exciting role is based in within our Retail Banking and Wealth Management services. Joining our team will provide you with a range of career opportunities which can see you progress to management or specialise in other areas such as financial planning, Premier and commercial banking.

In this role, you will:

Receives general inbound customer calls in a contact centre environment.

·
Provides high quality service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction by resolving the customer query at first contact where possible.

·
Listens to the customer and establishes needs.

·
Takes ownership and initiative to complete necessary research and customer follow up or direct the customer to the appropriate department for resolution.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Excellent communication skills and is polite and friendly at all times

· 
Must be flexible, customer centric and have the ability to thrive in a team environment

· 
Open to working flexible shifts

· 
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment is required

· 
Proficiency with computers and basic software packages

· 
Reliable with an efficient mindset

· 
Previous experience in a customer service environemnt

· 
Wants to do a good job, is concerned about getting it right for the customer and checks everything is in order

You must have ‘entitled' or ‘entitled to work' Jersey residency status to apply.

This role offers varying shift patterns which are discussed at interivew stage.
