We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
· The job holder is responsible for technical delivery of 24x7 production support to Oracle databases and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support team.
· Perform Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixes.
· Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues.
· Lead Database team in crisis calls, participate in MIR and PIR calls, also mentor team members.
· Experience and expertise in maintaining complex High Availability & Replication setups.
· Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery
· Identify automation and Self-Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
· Strong technical knowledge of Oracle concepts like RAC, Dataguard & OGG
· Expertise in 12c,19c versions & OEM
· Build and Deploy/Implement Solutions. Perform Capacity Planning and DR Planning.
· Troubleshooting Performance Issues and providing solutions.
· Expertise in RMAN Backup/Restore/Recovery.
· Expertise in Role swap & Failover planning and implementation.
· Strong technical knowledge of database space management
· Implementing releases / service requests
· Expertise in GoldenGate
· Expertise in Database upgrades and migrations
