Network Analyst
The Network Analyst role is based within the Global DDI (DNS, DHCP & IP Address Management) Engineering team within Telecommunication Services.
The team is responsible for the management and support of global DDI services and infrastructure supporting Internal and Internet facing system's connectivity. The team also provide project support for both IT and business driven initiatives with DDI requirements.
The role of the Network Analyst is to take responsibility for the provision, and 2 nd/3rd line support of DDI services on a global network, specifically using QIP, runIP, Infoblox and efficientIP technologies. This includes working with the DDI Business Projects and support team to support both the development of new functions and facilities and the on-going systems support following go-live.
The Network Analyst will work on projects including those involving planning, research, evaluation and design of DDI infrastructures alongside the Engineering team.
Your responsibilities will include:

To support and maintain full functionality of equipment and applications provided by the DDI team.

Ensure all aspects of the environment are maintained efficiently with minimal disruption to the customer base.

Work effectively as part of the global team to drive infrastructure deliverables and support requirements.
·
Ensure that standard ITIL processes are followed correctly and appropriately, e.g. problem management, incident management, release management, change management and configuration management. Implement ITIL best practice where applicable.

Identify, monitor, drive and track service improvements creating and managing a culture off continuous improvement.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

A background in DDI technologies, experience managing and maintaining QIP/ Infoblox / efficient IP infrastructures.

Experience of managing or have participated in large scale infrastructure project deployments and will have the ability to provide specialist support for these technologies.
·
Have an appreciation and understanding of Networking technologies and experience working in an IT or infrastructure support role
·
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP Address management , QIP, Infoblox, efficientIP, VBA, Linux shell scripting, SQL
·
Experience working in a large scale IT deployment supporting Financial Services is desirable
·
Experience of making prompt and practical business decision, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes
·
Supported project teams/managers, showing an understanding of the basic principles of project management
·
An understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
